A WHITE BELT'S GUIDE TO JIU JITSU - DISCLAIMER

(c) Cyber Fitness - Discipline Rewired (CFDR). Last reviewed: October 2026.

A White Belt's Guide To Jiu Jitsu is an educational companion, not a substitute for a qualified instructor. It is meant to help you remember and connect what you are taught in class, nothing more.

Jiu jitsu and other grappling are physical contact activities that carry an inherent risk of injury. Only train and drill techniques under the supervision of a qualified coach, with a willing partner, on suitable mats, after warming up. Start slow, tap early and often, and release every submission the instant your partner taps.

The techniques, positions and advice here are general information for healthy adults, or for minors under direct supervision. They may not suit your body, experience or situation, and written steps can never capture every detail of a live technique. If anything in this app differs from what your coach teaches, follow your coach.

This app does not provide medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting jiu jitsu or any exercise program, and stop and seek help if you are hurt.

You use this app and train entirely at your own risk. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Cyber Fitness - Discipline Rewired (CFDR) and the developer accept no liability for any injury, loss or damage arising from your use of this app or from training any technique described in it.

By using the app you acknowledge and accept this.
